Conservation Detection Dogs

We offer training and deployment of highly trained detection dogs for: field surveys; wildlife monitoring; research programs; and eradication projects. We couple our expertise in dog training, with over two decades experience working on the ground in the environmental and conservation sector both nationally and abroad. This means we can help guide your programs from concept, development of methodology, field deployment and data collection, analysis, reporting, and publication.

We are Queensland’s first company training and deploying detection dogs for Bird and Bat Fatality Studies in Queensland's renewable energy sector. We have multiple teams which are operational, currently focusing on North and Central Queensland. Additionally, we have dogs deployed on threatened Northern Quoll, and can negotiate training for new targets with our clients as required. Health and safety are our priority, and we will provide a detailed Job Hazard Analysis and have all required public liability and personal indemnity insurances for working on your sites.

All our dogs undergo external double-blind trials with their handlers to ensure their efficiency is over 80% prior to field deployment. Giving our clients confidence in our work.  Lastly, we can train dogs for termites, water leaks and other trade based services. Please get in touch to obtain a copy of our Capability Statement.
