Assistance and Therapy Dogs
We are industry experienced trainers for Assistance and Therapy dogs, with experience in Public Access Testing. We will provide you a comprehensive early socialisation plan to start out with the best chances of success. Guidance and support is provided through basic and advanced obedience training, followed by detailed complex skills training to support your specific disability in the final stages of training. We provide support as needed once your dog is deployed.
We currently also support Guide, Hearing and Assistance Dog Act certified organisations through the development of Assistance dog training plans, running training and assessing dogs. Additionally, we take on a small number of private Assistance Dog clients located in the Cairns and Atherton Tablelands region each year.
Mission
To support training of calm, well adjusted dogs able to operate in a diversity of environments. Our Assistance dogs are trained to provide consistent aide to their handler to give them confidence and independence in their day to day lives. Our therapy dogs operate in schools and medical practices across Queensland to improve well being and health.
